This project seeks to transform technical biodiversity data into a clear and accessible visual story for everyone. Using records from the citizen science platform iNaturalist, I developed an interactive dashboard in Power BI focused on analyzing the impact and distribution of introduced species in the Metropolitan Region of Chile.

The analysis is designed especially for the general public and for communicators interested in the environment. The main objective is to help identify invasive species patterns in a simple way, providing useful information that can be used for environmental decision-making.

What I did in this project:

• Data Structuring: Cleaning and Normalizing Source Files Using Power Query.

• Modeling and Visualization: Creating a relational data model and designing the interface in Power BI.

• Creating Metrics: Developing Key Indicators (like species diversity and active observers) using DAX expressions.
